The 30K is held on the exact same trails as the signature 50K route, giving runners the same captivating views at the summit of Snowbird. This challenging race brings 6,500 feet of elevation gain.

Course Description
Starting at the Snowbird Center runners have a slightly downhill start on service road to a 600ft climb to the first singletrack section before climbing up “Chips Switchbacks”. A steep half mile climb. Three more climbs and descents to the summit of Snowbird at 11,000ft to the first aid station at Hidden Peak. Leaving Hidden Peak, runners will encircle the summit and head thru the Infamous Tunnel. Runners will then descend a service road down Peruvian Gulch to the “Amphitheatre” turn for the final climb up the Cirque Ridge back to Hidden Peak aid station. Final descent is almost all downhill with a few “bumps” along the way. Race finishes at the Snowbird Center on the Plaza Deck.
